Spring Into Summer Event in Laurel

On June 18th, a cadre of community partners came together at the Laurel Civic Center to kick off a healthy and active summer.  Veggies were grilled, bikes were raffled, healthy cooking techniques were demonstrated, and health and wellness information was delivered to those attending.  Mini-grant funds, allocated following the 2008 Community Health Interactive in April, were used to support this successful and engaging event.
