Community Health Improvement Partnership (CHIP)

CHIP is a vehicle to develop ideas and action for creating a healthier community and a brighter future. CHIP brings together committed volunteers, organizations and businesses with the vision that their combined efforts can improve health and quality of life in Sarasota County and beyond.

CHIP's core functions:

Community Health Assessment & Evaluation
We collect data in the community to inform our planning activities, and we continually evaluate the impact and effectiveness of our health improvement activities.

We work to mobilize the community and create opportunities for broad participation in health planning processes.  Our engagement efforts build citizens' knowledge and capacity and keep the focus on evidence-based approaches.  We offer facilitation and strategic planning support.
